Our client is a boutique agency, and they are currently seeking a freelance Media / Brand Communications Planner to help on a project for a CPG food brand. This role will be working with their media, strategy and creative teams.

This project starts ASAP and will last through mid- August.

Responsibilities:
- The ideal person will have previous experience working in a strategic capacity tasked with understanding why people choose what they choose; what governs this process and how to influence it with communication
- Build out strategies by looking at the clients budget and determining how it would be allocated to PR, media and agency spend.
- Work with business strategy team to develop a presentation for the client for a high level communication and marketing plan that would help the client hit specific sales goals and raise brand awareness: this plan would go through the end of this year and into the beginning of 2020.
- Work closely with the creative team to inspire great creative that is strategically on point


Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience in a strategic communications role or equivalent. Agency experience preferred.
- Extensive strategy experience around media planning and buying
- Strong background in digital and understand the power of brands and how to build them
- Ideal background includes some digital media planning: display, video, social, mobile via direct to publisher and programmatic channels
- Can develop formal, written, agency POV statements
