Our client is a leading Retail Bank, and they are currently seeking a Freelance Lead Product / UX Designer.

The Lead Product / UX Designer will be responsible for:
- Working on 3 large developer portals which serves both internal and external audiences. All Developers company wide use these portals which in turn services their retail banking & investment banking divisions
- This person will fully own UI / Visual design for the team. You will also contribute to UX, but will not fully own that.
- Designing marketing pages & application / product site pages (more product driven)
- Working within and contributing to their digital design system
- Experience working on large, enterprise sites

- BFA or BA in related field, graduate design degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in UI / UX / Product design. Open to seeing candidates from agency or product background
- Heavy UI / Visual / Product background with UX skills
- Experience working on large, product driven, enterprise, transactional sites
- Experience working in Agile methodology
- Previous management experience is a plus
- Effective communicator and the ability to work with a wide range of product owners and stakeholders
- Ability to be scrappy and hands-on. Comfortable designing icons, templates, etc. as needed
- Proven understanding of responsive web & mobile application design and wireframe development
- UX - ability to create user journeys, storyboards, site maps, wireframes, and prototypes
- Prototyping skills across a variety of mediums (paper, Keynote, Invision)
- Collaborate on usability test plans; prepare paper and interactive prototypes and mockups, including page layout and navigational elements to test with users
- Ability to synthesize complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs
- Awareness and practical understanding of current technologies and how they apply to digital experiences
- Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment
- Ability to influence others and provide thought leadership on UX Design
- Team work: Develops and sustains effective working relationships
- Flexibility/adaptability (ability to change direction based upon team and stakeholder consensus)
