Our client, a digital-first education content company focusing on learning disabilities, is looking for a Senior Online Community Manager to join its growing team ASAP.

The Senior Online Community Manager will report directly to the Director of Social & Growth, responsible for fostering growth and engagement for the online platform community. This role has a deep impact on the platform's marketing, editorial and programming and empowers the community. You must have experience dealing with sensitive information.

Responsibilities for the Senior Online Community Manager include:

- Define community value and approach by working closely with data science, product, social, and program teams, identifying core metrics and measuring impact
- Grow page visits, engagement and membership on platform, groups, and forums by collaborating with internal teams
- Collaborate with internal data, editorial and creative / marketing teams to build relationships with community leaders to cultivate understanding and adoption of end-user tools
- Develop and implement cross-functional strategies to use community as a channel for growth within the digital and social ecosystem
- Update response protocols and manage community management team (2-3 remote community managers)
- Moderate groups, articles, and blogs on platform and contribute to developing and enhancing our approach to community

Qualifications for the Senior Online Community Manager include:

- 7+ years of specific community / membership program experience; experience with sensitive subject matter is a plus!
- Passion for community members and helping fulfill their needs
- Proven experience with leadership and managing teams; innate ability to motivate and lead
- Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
- A collaborative, hard-working, team spirit
