Our client, an in-house agency for a leading CPG company, needs to hire a full-time Digital Media Analyst onsite at their office in Northern NJ (not easily commutable by public transportation, busy only).

At least 5 years of media experience (not web experience) is required, at least some it from an agency.

The Digital Media Analyst must have a comprehensive understanding of media strategy and planning to act as the primary day-to-day analytics lead on several key projects, providing a holistic view of marketing impact, interpreting trends, and leading the conversation on consumer behavior based on marketing campaign data.


Key Digital Media Analyst Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Communications Planning , Strategy and Media teams to develop KPI, measurement plans for all media campaigns
• Consolidate data collection, analysis, findings
• Work closely with Account Managers, Media, and Ad Trafficking to ensure campaign-tracking mechanisms are put into place and data collection is functioning correctly
• Produce regular and ad hoc campaign reports, drawing out insights and optimizations related to media objectives, clearly communicating results to internal & external stakeholders
• Identify inconsistencies and gaps in data to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Be the media analytics point of contact for senior level clients
• Develop stories with data that help identify and solve clients’ business needs


Digital Media Analyst Requirements:
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations with forecasted outcomes/implications
• Experience with media data sources (comScore, Millward Brown, Nielsen DAR/TAR/Brand Effects, MRI), third party ad serving platforms (DCM), third-party validation (IAS, DoubleVerify), and attribution solutions (Visual IQ)
• Ability to analyze data from multiple datasource, interpret media performance, draw quantifiable conclusions, summarize actionable recommendations, forecast outcomes/implications
• Strong knowledge with digital analytics platforms including Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics (Omniture)
• Knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Prior experience building client reports to deliver research-driven insights and interpret campaign data
• Exposure to mobile, social, tablet measurement approaches as well as understanding of role of multi-touch attribution in media evaluation
