Our client, the Experience Design team of a major financial company, is seeking a Lead Product Designer. This is an onsite freelance opportunity that is 3-6 months to start and can possibly extend and/or convert to full-time for the right long-term fit, and is accessible by public transportation.

The Lead Product Designer will:
- Analyze, plan and map simple and customer-intuitive experiences for the main customer website
- Understand customer needs and arrange interactions into rational user flows and digital touch-points for product
- Design improvements for user-centered frameworks
- Create interactive prototypes that align with journeys
- Lead design sprints and business workshops
- Deliver visual designs through sketching and storyboards
- Communicate new cases for design improvements with developers, marketing and product stakeholders

The Lead Product Designer must have:
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in product or user experience design, including sketching, wireframing, prototyping, sitemapping, data visualization, userflows, etc.
- Experience interpreting qualitative and quantitative research, preplanning user testing best practices, and recognizing complex business challenges
- Ability to confidently present and get buy-in from stakeholders and high-level executives
- Portfolio that reflects thought process, not just end result
- Bachelor's degree
