Our client, a well-known higher education publisher, is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join their Marketing Team!

The Senior Marketing Manager will be focused on helping to activate growth through B2B Marketing efforts - think demand generation and lead flow - which will help the sales team land more business.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Work cross-functionally with sales team to define account plan strategies and execute targeted marketing campaigns (email, direct mail, paid)
- Work with teams on improvements to the lead flow process and reporting to continually optimize the B2B Marketing funnel
- Collaborate with editorial to create thought leadership collateral (whitepapers, reports, etc.) for prospects and influencers
- Create and execute strategic regional campaigns that attract interested leads for institutions
- Create onboarding, activation and engagement campaigns for educators on new accounts
- Create and update sales collateral that speaks to the brand's value proposition
- Responsible for sales enablement materials (powerpoints, one-pagers, etc.)
- Educate marketing and sales team about competitors in the higher ed space and market trends

The ideal Senior Marketing Manager will have:
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience with a track record of developing a successful B2B marketing funnel
- Any experience or exposure to higher ed or publishing is a huge plus but not required
- Proficiency using Salesforce to analyze and communicate to sales team
- Basic understanding of marketing automation best practices and how to utilize a program like Marketo, Hubspot, or others
- Experience in email marketing and direct mail
- A strategic marketer, comfortable with ambiguity and able to determine solutions and prioritize accordingly
- Proven track record of planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
