Our client, a leader in the travel and education space, is looking for a UI Designer to join their team!
The UI Designer will be joining a UX Team dedicated to a specific line of business that serves adult travelers and with a focus of expanding and enhancing the digital experience for customers.
Primary responsibilities:
- Create compelling visual experiences across web and mobile sites, while also leaning on your UX design chops
- Work to understand the customer journey and advocate for the best user experience
- Work across teams with other UX/UI Designers, Writers, Product Managers and Engineers to optimize ecommerce experiences
- Present ideas in both formal and informal settings to get stakeholder buy-in
While this role is largely visual/UI focused, it's important that you have some UX understanding of best practices.
The ideal UI Designer will have:
- 4+ years of experience in a UI or UX design role; ecommerce experience a huge plus!
- A strong portfolio showcasing your work across web and mobile
- Experience working in tools like Figma, Miro and Jira
- Experience managing multiple projects at once
- Experience working cross-functionally and partnering with Product/Developers
This is a full-time opportunity to join a growing team!
NOTE: while the team is ideally looking for someone open to coming into the office 2-3 days per week, they are also open to those preferring to remain remote.
