Our client is a rapidly growing independently owned studio. They offer well-known brands and corporations creative and production services for branded content, network promos, and live activations. This is a fast-paced, start-up like environment and they are looking for an entrepreneurial and enterprising person to join their team.

About the Position:
They are seeking an Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a relentless work ethic, go-getter mentality, deep attention to detail and strong aspiration to drive success forward as a true team player. We are looking for a results-driven sales leader with an established track record of building and nurturing client relationships. The ideal candidate has strong direct customer relationships and experience with building lead lists and prospecting as well as efficiently engaging prospects. You’ll lead and drive winning opportunities through development of pitches (strategy, materials, and communication) to ultimately close deals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, with ability to manage multiple client relationships and distinct sales outreach efforts concurrently.
• Conduct direct sales outreach to brand and agency clients through the development of compelling pitches and story-telling.
• Have existing brand and agency relationships as well as a strong understanding of how to uncover the right prospects.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations for client meetings.
• Ability to create a sales process that delivers results
• An insatiable curiosity and need to stay immersed in industry trends and developments.
• Maintain a visible presence, obtain meetings and develop meaningful relationships with decision makers.
• Ability to clearly articulate and present strategic vision for the company and present credentials in a clear and compelling way.
• In partnership with the leadership team, facilitate client conversations, strategy, ideation and pitches for custom content-based marketing programs. Attend client meetings and pitches as needed.

Skills, Requirements and Personal Attributes:

• Self-motivated, self-starter with a proven track record of meeting revenue goals and producing innovative solutions for customers.
• A high-energy leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, and desire to win.
• 8-10 years of relevant professional experience; specifically selling branded and/ or social media content. Experience selling for a network, creative studio, production company, digital publisher, and/or media / advertising agency will also be considered.
• A strong client rolodex with contacts across varying sectors coupled with established reputation within the industry is required.
• A consummate professional, someone who projects confidence and can command a room.
• Exceptional presentation and client management skills.
• A strong negotiator and convincing communicator.
• Digitally savvy, with knowledge of digital publishers, social media, mobile technology, emerging platforms, industry players and multi-platform content distribution.
• A creative thinker and collaborative leader. Someone who can come up with unique solutions to client problems and solve them with internal resources.
• Excellent time management skills and innate sense of urgency.
• Driven to proactively to improve sales processes and results while able to work independently with little direction.
