Our financial client is in need of a Web Content Writer with strong technical writing skills in the Financial industry for an 18+ month assignment starting the week of July 5th, offering 40 hours/week!

The Web Content Writer will analyze, organize, design, write and edit content for self- service users that can regularly access knowledge articles and use it as a source of information and decision making to improve productivity, efficiency and timeliness. Must be able to ensure content is consistent, concise, easy to find & use, conforms to standards and is properly categorized.

Web Content Writer Responsibilities:
- Interact with business areas to understand business needs of content.
- Collaborate with business areas to update, edit and publish knowledge content in accordance with publishing standards.
- Support, train and guide others less experienced authors.
- Drive and/or participate in knowledge content improvement projects.
- Promote and maintain mutually beneficial and collaborative relationships within and across departments and divisions.

Web Content Writer Required Qualifications:
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Must possess the ability to edit and assist in the development of clearly written, succinct information that flows logically.
- Experience with formatting content in a web layout that can be easily read and consumed by all users.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with business areas across the firm, to gain an understanding of the written material to be migrated/developed.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS).
- AP Style background with ability to learn Edward Jones writing/style guide.
