Position Event / Meeting Coordinator

Our client is a major financial corporation seeking a Meeting Coordinator to assist the meeting planning team. This is an onsite, 40-hour/week freelance assignment that goes through the end of the year, possibly longer.

The Event / Meeting Coordinator will handle a mix of internal meetings and external events - responsibilities include:
- Updating itineraries, agendas and run-of-show
- Updating reservation system and meeting site/invitations
- Creating event planning documents using PowerPoint
- Facilitating transportation and other vendor needs
- Researching venues and handling shipping/receiving
- Working with AV and production orders
- Handling administrative logistics as needed

The Event / Meeting Coordinator must have:
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Experience with Cvent and/or Etouches is a plus!
