Our client, a beloved education and kids entertainment brand, is currently seeking a SOCIAL MEDIA + EVENT MARKETING MANAGER with expertise in to join their team on a long term freelance basis.

***This role requires national travel about 5-8 times per year for 3-5 days at a time.***

The SOCIAL MEDIA + EVENT MARKETING MANAGER:

- Must have a MINIMUM of 3 years of social media marketing, and ideally, exposure to the event space
- Is a highly enthusiastic, positive and able to work well with many different personality types
- Is excited about networking, traveling and talking about products
- Is highly organized, strategic and works well in a super fast paced environment
- Has strong experience in Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook management and strategy, with previous experience using social media listening tools and measuring against KPIs
- Is extremely organized, has excellent time and project management skills, and the ability to effectively balance multiple high profile projects at once.

In this role, the SOCIAL MEDIA + EVENT MARKETING MANAGER will be instrumental in developing event / trade show and social media campaign concepts around magazine product launches, as well as working across large teams to execute on concepts.

Projects include: social media campaign concept and management, KPI implementation and measurement, trade show content / campaign development and visuals.
