Our client, a well known international beauty brand, is currently looking for a freelance Visual Merchandising Designer with beauty experience to join their team onsite for maternity leave coverage.

*VM Designer must have Spanish fluency*

Ideal candidate is a Visual Merchandiser that specializes in graphic design. It’s important that you have strong graphic design skills, with VM skills as well!

The Designer of Visual Merchandising will be involved in various aspects of visual merchandising from initial concept design development to execution, working closely with LATIN AMERICAN markets.

Visual Merchandising Designer:
- Will collaborate with the VM and Store Design teams on creative and innovative design solutions (Line testers, Launch testers, Events, Holiday and special projects based on briefs from global marketing teams)
- Will maintain consistency of the style standards of VM throughout the LATAM markets
- Work together to develop new concepts that are cost effective, while remaining at the forefront of design and technology
- Will work within all store typologies including Free Standing stores, flagship doors, department stores, events/pop-ups and specialty / multi chains
- Will review and critique layouts to ensure that the images and marketing objectives exceed expectations
- Maintain awareness of trends, styles, materials and technology relative to the prestige and luxury skincare competition

- 1-3+ years VM design experience, ideally within beauty / luxury (proficiency with the Creative Suite)
- Fluency with Spanish, as you will be communicating daily with Latin American markets
- Experience as a designer in a fast-paced, high pressure creative environment. Ideally cosmetic industry or retail experience.
- Outstanding organizational skills and fine attention to detail
- Strong presentation skills, ability to personally organize, prioritize and manage workload
- Ability to manage a successful initiation and execution of numerous projects simultaneously
- Must be a self-starter, flexible and imaginative with an elevated sense of three-dimensional design
- Ideally will have experience with Vectorworks, CAD, and current 3D programs to model fixtures and store environments
