Rate $115,000; Annually + 15% bonus
Our CPG client is seeking an Marketing Analyst with experience developing business strategies using quantitative sales/marketing analytics/data mining to join a growing Marketing team with a local St. Louis based client.

The Marketing Analyst must have expert-level proficiency in Nielsen/IRI/Amazon with strong ability to understand and interpret customer and category insights research.

The ideal candidate will have experience and passion to synthesize complex data into strategic, relevant and compelling selling stories for customer presentations and line reviews and support product portfolio expansion into key sales channels.

Marketing Analyst Responsibilities:
- Perform deep dive analysis of Nielsen and Profitero category data
- Identify tangible category and shopper insights and translate into actionable consumer growth opportunities (e.g., assortment gap, new competitors, and competitive white space)
- Drive the connection of eCommerce POS data output and actionable insights to ensure success in the online channel
- Work closely with marketing, eCommerce, and sales teams to develop and present strategic, relevant, and compelling selling stories for Customer product line reviews
- Manage the daily working relationship with Nielsen and Profitero client contacts
- Develop standardized metrics, reporting processes and presentations while continuously looking for ways to make improvements
- Develop and publish monthly Nielsen and Amazon topline reports and performance summaries to marketing, salespeople, and other key stakeholders
- Update Nielsen categories quarterly to account for new items
- Manage the company’s Insights budget

Marketing Analyst Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in data science, applied mathematics, business, finance, statistics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in consumer packaged goods
- 2+ years of eCommerce or digital marketing highly preferred
- Well versed in visualization platforms, specifically Tableau - Experience in eCommerce analytics platforms such as ARA Premium, Profitero, or One Click Retail are preferred
- Experience in dig-data query preferred, such as SQL
- Experience in Power BI preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools, specifically Excel modeling and macro-scripting and Dynamic PowerPoint
