Our client, a marketing agency is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist to join their team for a six month engagement.

The Senior Digital Marketing Strategist will be the strategic face of the company, interfacing with their premier clients. You will be partnering with clients to identify the role that digital marketing will play in their overarching strategy, and how it can solve their top challenges and priorities. You will be working from the beginning to uncover business, cultural, and categorical insights that surface opportunities and meaning for brands, and curate stories and recommendations that contribute the the strategic direction of client work. In collaboration with the account and media teams, the Senior Digital Marketing Strategist will also have the following responsibilities:


- Establish and maintain influential relationships with client senior management
- Identify and define branding and messaging opportunities within SEM, as well as other digital channels, to promote awareness, findability, and engagement of the brand
- Provide recommendations focused primarily on enterprise marketing, including brand and digital transformation with an emphasis on paid search techniques
- Partner with the Client to move from a ‘spray and pray’ blast-all type of approach to using data triangulation for a hyper-targeted approach to find customers that are in-market
- Provide POVs on cultural and social trends relevant to client business and competitive landscape
- Identify potential solutions partners for key strategic integrations

Senior Digital Marketing Strategist qualifications:

- Ability to identify opportunities for new digital solutions
- 8+years in digital marketing, including experience with Display, Paid Search and Paid Social, as well as being in a client / account facing role
- Deep understanding of how digital marketing channels interoperate and a solid foundation on the role each channel – and digital overall – plays in enterprise marketing
- Experience with both B2C and B2B marketing strongly preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills; experience presenting to executive and C-level clients a must
- Team-oriented collaborator who is able to help internal resources prioritize efforts to maximize value for the client
- Independent, self-starter who is able to identify the “next thing” they can be focusing on to help move the ball
