Our technology client is in need of an eCommerce Director with up to 7 years of direct to consumer eCommerce experience to join their growing Platform Services team in a direct-hire position starting in April 2021!

The eCommerce Director, will be responsible for leading the platform management team in order to scale the company's eCommerce channel from a collection of companies to one. This leader will partner with and lead teams, obsess over customer experience and build our business to scale.

eCommerce Director's Responsibilities:
Set a Vision: Build the merchandising vision and create a roadmap that employs technology, strong UI, and data to unlock growth and support the companies position as the professional education leader in Real Estate, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Valuation Property Services.

Build for Scale: Partner with the eCommerce tech team to deliver the roadmap that balances feature development with long term scaling.

Customer Experience: Drive market research, user research, data analysis and user testing that informs front end requirements to build the leading eCommerce platform for Membership, Loyalty, and Career Lifecycle Management.

Discovery of Products: Partner with Marketing, Business Leaders, Sales, Product Teams, and Engineers to evolve the customer journey into compelling experiences that go beyond the eCommerce purchase funnel.

Drive Conversion: Develop a transparent and engaging shopping experience so consumers have a clear understanding of product offerings and services and convert from shoppers to buyers/members who want to achieve more.

Transformative: Provide thought leadership and collaborate with colleagues to develop a best in class eCommerce platform.

eCommerce Director Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of work experience in product management roles working with engineering teams.
- 5+ years managing and leading teams of product managers and designers.
- Excellent command of search engine marketing, Web content management systems and digital analytics.
- Demonstrated experience in leading eCommerce initiatives including implementing modern shopping carts.
- Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.
- Comfortable leveraging data and analysis for decision making and knows when there is not enough information to decide.
- Understanding of responsive design and progressive web applications a plus.
