Our client, a national youth organization that promotes healthy lifestyles, is seeking a full-time Director of Integrated Communications.

The Director of Integrated Marketing will:
- Develop and execute marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics for the national organization that targets schools promoting healthy and active lifestyles.
- Develop / manage and execute communications plans in coordination with funding partners and program teams.
- Create, review/edit content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations.
- Foster integration among youth wellness and nutrition affairs communicators and coordinate all public relations activities with cross-functional team members.
- Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
- Direct social media content to engage & grow audiences across traditional and new media.
- Leverage local and national media resources and cultivate contacts to grow awareness among business partners and thought leaders.
- Report to the President in collaboration with the CEO.
- Receive support from the Chicago newsroom team.
- Have no direct reports.

The Director of Integrated Marketing has:
- 7-10 years experience at non-profit, development and / or PR agencies.
- Availability to travel 20% of the time.
