Our client, a B2B retail CPG company, needs a Studio Manager to join their team onsite at their office in Monmouth County freelance to full-time; interviews start in late March and start date will follow in early April. Their office isn't easily commutable by public transportation.

Experience with soft goods / home furnishings / wall coverings / rugs / home textiles etc. is required.

The Studio Manager will interact with the Product Development and Sales teams on a daily basis to manage incoming requests (work orders) and assign projects to the Textile Designers in the studio based on deadlines and client priorities.

Studio Manager Requirements / Responsibilities:
• At least 3 years of studio experience, ideally 8+
• Soft Goods (bedding, towels, kitchen, etc.) experience
• Manage the workflow of the Designers, assigning and reassigning projects daily
• Adjust product spreadsheets and review with management daily, shuffling projects based on client needs
• Manage Excel sheet but also advise on a better tool, based on past experience, that could improve their process
• Willingness to learn and to teach
• Bedding experience is a huge plus (fashion bedding is a time consuming category for their design team)
• Extremely well organized

The design team is 14 total but the Studio Manager will mainly oversee the work of the 8 Textile Designers.

This is not a hands on role but proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite is still required.
