Position Events Coordinator

Our client, a small medical nonprofit, needs an Events Coordinator to assist their team onsite at their office in Bergen County for some ongoing freelance, likely through June with the potential to go full-time for the right person.

They have a big gala in June celebrating their 30th year and need the Events Coordinator to support their Chief Development Officer who is managing the gala preparation.

They're a small shop so candidates must be willing to wear a lot of hats and pitch in as needed; the bulk of the duties will pertain to the event though.

Events Coordinator Responsibilities/Requirements:
• Follow up with vendors
• Coordinate invitations being sent and received
• Reliable, smart, energetic
• Take direction from the person managing the event
• Comfortable in Excel (they just use it for lists)
• Event research (flower vendors, etc.)
• Ability to input information into their fundraising software, Raiser's Edge (they can teach someone how to use it; precision is imperative because it holds all of their donor information)
