A leading DNA testing group is looking for an Art Director to join their team. This is a FULL-TIME opportunity that starts in August 2021. This role will start out 2 days onsite and eventually transition to fully onsite.

The ideal Art Director will own and evolve our brand identity system and act as a safeguard for consistent, on-brand, high-quality work.

The Art Director will be responsible for crafting innovative, customer-focused brand experiences while working with printers, production houses, and other vendors.

REQUIREMENTS:
? 5+ years of experience
? Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in design or a related field
? Portfolio of design samples
? Expert level knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and InDesign)
? Adept in developing creative strategies with the big picture and adaptability in mind
? Proven process with a good sense of project pacing and timelines
? Strong communication skills
? A storyteller with exceptional presentation skills
? Strong sense of design sensibilities, details matter
? Strong organizational skills
? Experience creating marketing content for social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
? Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

The Art Director will collaborate with UX/UI designers and cross-functional teams to develop creative concepts and oversee projects through execution

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Create on-brand, attractive, and innovative design solutions for a range of projects, including but not limited to, ads, logos, identity systems, websites, collateral, packaging, publications, and trade show exhibits
? Evolve and manage our brand identity system and guidelines; imagery, typography, color, logos, voice, and tone, etc.
? Conceptualize and design integrated advertising campaigns and creative assets for multiple channels including mobile, digital, print, email, social, and web
? Act as a source of truth for anything related to the brand identity
? Guide brand expression across media and projects, and direct creative work
? Be an advocate for brand awareness and seek opportunities to solve the tough problems
? Stay in tune with best practices as well as industry and technology trends
? Model collaboration, inclusivity, open-mindedness, and excellence
? Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, developers, and event partners to create work that aligns with business goals
? Represent the brand both internally and externally
? Present and communicate directly with business partners, project owners, stakeholders, and managers
