Leading Entertainment Client is seeking a Junior Publicity Coordinator to work with their Film Division!

This is a 4-month freelance opportunity with the chance to go full time for the right fit. Candidates should be local to Los Angeles for future onsite events.

Working closely with the Digital Publicity team, you will be responsible for supporting two Senior Publicists. Additional responsibilities:
-manage online press, outlets and podcasts to maximize exposure for our films
-manage all paid activations and identify opportunities to scale activations globally
-work with key digital influencers + outlets (i.e. Buzzfeed)
-ideate influencer strategies
-assist press event planning, staffing and management
-help secure placements for films
-compile daily updates for internal marketing staff

-1 year of experience in the entertainment industry
-Specific experience within publicity / marketing
-Working knowledge of Microsoft based software
-Able to work well under pressure and remain calm and collected in stressful situations
-Must be willing and able to work screenings, premieres and press junkets
-Must be willing and able to travel for press junkets, set visits, premieres and conventions
