Our nonprofit client is looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join their team.

As of June 14th, this opportunity requires someone to be onsite, full-time in Newport Beach.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish, understands the ins and outs of event management, community engagement and outreach.

Marketing Communications Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach for community based educational and social events
- Engage the community on social media platforms
- Monitor and respond to community messages on social media platforms
- Assist with the coordination of the resource programs
- Assist the community with accessing events, information, resource sharing, etc.
- Schedule meetings with members
- Support the Development Team with planning, coordinating and executing signature events within prescribed budgets
- Coordinate the production of all event-related materials, including electronic and paper save-the-dates, invitations, programs, sponsorship decks, signage, host gifts, attendee gift bags, thank you notes, etc.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of gift/sponsor acknowledgment and processing by liaising with internal and external stakeholders and handling gift processing activities such as deposits, donor acknowledgment letters, receipts, etc., and producing and maintaining accurate reporting
- Generate and merge lists from Salesforce and other software platforms to support personalized donor- and sponsor-related acknowledgment letters and event receipts
- Respond promptly to constituent donor inquiries and/or refer to appropriate department for resolution
- Track, enter, and update donor information and runs reports within Salesforce system
- Track projects in to ensure successful and timely execution of all associated deliverables
- Assist with PR, social, marketing and content development and execution

Marketing Communications Coordinator Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Spanish (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
- 1-3 years of relative experience
- Strong organizational skills; proven experience in project management
- Computer literacy; ability to use Windows-based software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as proficiency with CRM systems; Salesforce CRM experience a plus
- Some travel and weekend work may be required
- Experience with virtual platform set-up and use (i.e., Zoom)
