Event + Digital Marketing Manager - City of Chicago

Our professional service client is looking for a Marketing Manager, focused on Alumni relations, to join their team to cover a maternity leave until the end of January.

This role will require time onsite the team up 2-3 day weeks. The client is located downtown close to major train lines.

This is an exciting role for a Marketing Manager to
support alumni engagement programs and upcoming virtual event. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years experience at non profit or in higher education, excellent writing skills, experience working in a database or marketing communication platform, and comfortable working globally with Sr. management and stockholders. Event Management experience would be a PLUS.

Responsibilities for the Marketing Manager:
-Executing the global alumni strategy through events, email marketing efforts, newsletters and recruitment outreach

-Acting as global point person leading meetings and events

-Coordinate all communication with global alumni leads

-Supporting events nationally with alumni

-Coordinating registration and email outreach for event

-Obtaining post event feedback from participants

-Leading social media efforts to enhance alumni interaction
-Workings with offshore teams to maintain data management of web sites, job boards, and registrations


Requirement of the Marketing Manager:
-5+ years experiences ideal with alumni relations
-Excellent writing and communications skills
-Confident leading and presenting in front of Sr. Level team
-Proficient in Microsoft Office
-Event Experience is a PLUS
