Our client, a well-known/leading global company, is seeking a Communications Specialist to assist their team.

This opportunity is remote for 40-hours per week for about 6-months.

The ideal Communications Specialist will be a collaborator, innovator, and change agent who is a strongly skilled writer and visual communicator.

Communications Specialist Responsibilities:
- Internal Communications Planning and Execution
- Assist with engaging, informing, and directing employees about the business strategy and priorities
- Draft copy for executive messaging
- Serve as the internal communications expert/hub - prioritizing comms by vehicle, content, timing, and business impact
- Work with all levels of management in the business
- Provide regular reports on our internal audience and adjust approach in order to be most effective
- Produce high-quality written and visual content (email/portal banners, infographics, video messages, etc.)
- Partner with the Marketing team to provide timely updates on milestones
- Project manage regular all hands meetings, including designing and preparing the presentation deck and coordinating with the webcast team for Virtual Town Hall Meetings
- Consistently reinforce brand, culture, and transformational journey throughout communication channels
- Build strong relationships with HR, internal communication leads across the company, and leadership to communicate initiatives and ensure a unified approach.
- Participate in meetings, conversations around HR initiatives, and support accordingly where there is the skillset to contribute and a desire to learn

Communications Specialist Requirements:
- 2+ years of internal or executive communications experience (background in PR communications is a plus)
- Experience with working across time zones
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, ability to learn concepts quickly
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft 365 (Teams is a huge plus)
- Proficient in PowerPoint
- Skilled in Adobe CC (primarily Photoshop and Premiere)
- Experienced in email marketing platforms such as MailChimp, Populo, and Bananatag (Bananatag preferred)
