Hot technology company is seeking a Business Affairs Manager to work with their team!
Working closely with the in-house marketing, production and project management teams - you will be responsible for licensing and clearance of magazine and newspaper publisher assets to be used in global marketing communications. Assets will be used for social, retail, direct marketing, online advertising and channel / retail partners.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in a Business Affairs (or similar) role
- Agency or brand-side experience (both is a plus!)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills
- Understanding of industry standards in advertising and marketing along with related agreements around distribution of media (copyright, trademark and third party IP licensing)
- Strong understanding of magazine + newspaper asset licensing
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment + diverse set of publishing media industry partners
