A marketing agency is looking for a Public Relations Account Manager with prior agency experience to support their team. This is a FREELANCE opportunity that starts January 2021!

The Public Relations Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing creative public relations strategies, with a focus on digital, across a portfolio of B2C and B2B clients.

+ 5-7 years of experience
+ Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or related field
+ Agency experience working on multiple accounts is a must
+ Portfolio of writing samples
+ Stellar written and oral communications skills
+ Excellent editing and proofreading skills
+ Expertise in AP-style
+ Knowledge of social media, digital news platforms and supporting algorithms
+ Experience creating and executing digital strategies and developing supporting assets
+ Well organized with ability to meet tight deadlines
+ Ability to work in a fast paced environment
+ Ability to manage tense crisis situations with poise, nimbleness and accountability
+ Ability to meet tight deadlines

The ideal Public Relations Account Manager must be a team player with a passion for storytelling.

+ Works with agency teams to help plan campaigns and to identify strategies, public relations and digital tactics, deliverables and timelines for campaigns
+ Supports designated accounts to facilitate plan development and successful execution of key digital and experiential initiatives
+ Produces a wide range of written communication materials (digital content, blogs, talking points; video scripts, news releases; media pitches; newsletters, etc.)
+ Manages client digital networks
+ Establishes key digital metrics for public relations campaigns

The ideal candidate must be available to work outside of normal business hours as needed for client support.
