Our Wisconsin based client is seeking a fully remote User Experience Lead to join their team for 40 hours a week through the end of 2021.

The User Experience Lead is a user-centered, innovative designer who is committed to creating beautifully simple experiences, and delightful moments of interaction. The Lead takes a holistic view of the end-to-end series of touch points and interactions involved in the employee experience. This person will work with designers, researchers, product managers and employee experience business partners to make sense of the dynamics of how human interactions with systems and processes inform and shape the experiences of their workforce.

User Experience Lead Responsibilities:
- Work with designers, researchers, product managers and employee experience business partners focusing on how users interact with systems
- Using insights gained by problem solving and problem finding to guide the design and execution of users experience
- Think through complex features and flows, balance user and business needs, making the complex feel simple to users
- Create design work and inspire and guide junior designers
- Translate metrics and performance criteria into design principles

User Experience Lead Requirements:
- 6+ years experience designing interfaces for large scale digital experiences and applications
- Strong understanding of the user, communicating the user's perspective throughout the design process
- Strong understanding of UX, including research, concepting, flows, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, annotations etc.
- Extensive knowledge of best in class interaction design patterns across a variety of platforms, able to push beyond existing design patterns
- Experience working collaboratively with other designers, researchers, engineers and product owners
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, and Invision
