Assistant Video Editor - Fully Remote/Off-site

Non-profit, entertainment client is looking for a Assistant Video Editor to work with their team!

This is a year long contract position. You MUST be based in Los Angeles.

Reporting to the Senior Video Producer, you will be responsible for handling editing, media management and distribution of assets.

- Handle and maintain all new video assets including transcription, captioning, titling, file naming, key words and tagging
- Oversee organization and backup of footage
- Curate and and edit specific video content as assigned for web and social channels
- Handle all video content requests from cross functional teams

- 1+ year of relevant experience
- Must have experience in video post-production
- Experience using Adobe Premiere and/or DaVinci Resolve
- Familiarity with Photoshop, After Effects and Drupal (or other CMS)
- Familiarity with Brightcove (or similar platform)
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with high attention to detail
