Our client, one of the fastest growing value retailers on the planet, offering high-quality products, is looking to hire a freelance, Email Marketing Specialist.
This is a remote opportunity, for the next 4-6 months. This position is Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be located in the Pacific or Mountain time zones, or able to commit to working West Coast hours.
The Email Marketing Specialist will be:
- supporting the communication of the value proposition through the email marketing channel
- part of the Digital Marketing team and will focus on email development, execution and reporting of our promotion email campaigns
- developing a comprehensive understanding of their email marketing program, from building emails via HTML through campaign deployment and reporting
- working with brand marketing team to align on a promotion email calendar that encompasses key stories and assortment to be promoted
- using HTML and Blueshift to build email templates and send campaigns, implementing personalization through dynamic content and utilizing A/B testing when possible
This Email Marketing Specialist will have:
- at least 2+ years in a similar email marketing role, ideally with experience from an enterprise-level implementation
- experience from the retail space, B2C is preferred
- knowledge of nuances of email deliverability and maintaining of health of email list
- understanding of how to use segmentation to create personalized email messages
- strong HTML knowledge to code and deploy emails
- experience with MS Excel and/or Google Sheets, Marketo, Blueshift is preferred
