Our client, a global financial services company, is looking for a Channel Marketing Lead to join their in-house demand management team for 4 months (hybrid, onsite in Wilmington 3 days a week and work from home 2 days a week) to execute ideas, objectives, and strategies for credit card products.

This team is involved with campaign and project execution for credit card acquisition and portfolio engagement initiatives.

The day to day is around capacity planning for their campaigns and forecasting in terms of what is manageable in terms of scope, and timing etc.

The Channel Marketing Lead will play a key part in capacity planning for credit card marketing initiatives. This includes managing the initiative intake and triage process, working with the marketing execution teams to determine impacted groups and sizing and identify the required resources, track and manage capacity for execution team resources and ultimately shepherd marketing initiatives from request submission to execution.

The Channel Marketing Lead will be responsible for collaborating with resource managers across the functional teams to develop an effective operational solution, establish a feasible timeframe within the given capacity constraints, secure the necessary stakeholders to execute, and transition the high-level requirements of campaigns and projects for a seamless execution.

Channel Marketing Lead Qualifications:
3+ years of marketing planning or capacity planning experience
Strong project management skills with the ability to excel at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously within tight deadlines
Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills (they use Excel for charts/pivot tables but it's not heavy analytics)
Experience managing data sets and/or producing reporting and data visualization

Demonstrate the ability to lead capacity planning working in a collaborative approach
Communicate effectively across marketing execution teams and across different levels within the organization
Be a team player that develops strong partnerships and is adept at collaboration with key stakeholders
Have the ability to take initiative, influence others, resolve issues and achieve results
Develop and maintain reporting and data visualization

Experience planning campaigns that have different channels such as direct mail, email etc. is ideal but not required since they run 10-45 active campaigns at once across various channels and timeframes, most of them running 8-12 weeks each, involving multiple product partners.

This is a freelance Channel Marketing Lead opportunity for 4 months with the possibility to extend through the end of this year (this will always be a hybrid role onsite 3 days a week; fully remote is not an option for this team).

The team currently works onsite Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and remotely Thursday and Friday.
