Podcast media client is seeking a Director of Audience Development! The ideal candidate's primary task is to develop content strategies that drive and retain traffic across all verticals, especially SEO and social.

Director of Audience Development Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal teams to understand target audiences
- Identify and develop appropriate audiences for earned, owned and paid social campaigns
- Collaborate with media agency to translate audience targets into a workable media plan
- Creatively construct audience activation targets using 1st party, 2nd party, and 3rd party data
- Follow SEO best practices to reach target audiences
- Test and analyze data sets for reaching target audiences
- Responsible for growth targets in reach, retention, and revenue
-Presenting results of monthly content optimization tests to the team

Director of Audience Development Requirements:
- 5-8+ years experience
- Verifiable history in driving organic & paid audience growth on media platforms
- A demonstrable proficiency in storytelling with data
- An SQL ninja who can build their own queries through database access, and advise on future database structure
- Experience with project management and A/B testing
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Meltwater, YouTube+Facebook and other analytics platforms
- Proficient with G-Suite and Microsoft Office (especially Powerpoint and Excel)
- Experience with Meltwater search and Google Data Studio is highly preferred
- Certified in YouTube Audience Growth a plus!
