Our CGP client is looking for a Sale and Operations Lead to join their team for the next 15-18 months.

This role does require occasional on site work with the team at their office in the Western Suburbs, 85% will be offsite. Proper COVID precautions are being taken to ensure health and safety onsite.

This is an exciting role for a Sales & Ops Lead with 7+ years experience, specifically in the CPG space, to act as a key subject matter expert to drive future growth. You'll be responsible for working directly with leadership and the VP, Category Business Unit to create the new Sales & Ops process surrounding their new CBU model and current transformation by establishing new processes, lines of communication, KPI's and reporting.

Responsibilities of the Sales and Ops Lead:
-Drive the development and implementation of new Sales & Ops process as it relates to current transformation
-Develop and leverage relationships with Operations, Finance, Sales to ensure effective communication
-Shape Supply Chain and Sales Operations strategies, capabilities, and processes to improve performance
-Challenge current demand planning processes and implement solutions that drive process improvements
-Understanding of Production Planning function
( new product development, product life cycle, product-phase-out processes, SKU rationalization, inventory health, routing, and capacity)
-Develop, monitor, and report on core (KPIs) to measure performance and help drive future decisions
-Integrate quantitative and qualitative inputs and data to tie together in a context relevant story for leadership team

Requirements of the Sales and Ops Lead:
-Experience transforming culture, creating discipline, and developing end-to-end, best practice around S&OP process
-Working knowledge of planning systems and analytical tools (e.g. JDE, Demantra, SAP, BI etc.) and Microsoft Office
-Excellent presentation and communication skills
-Strong negotiation, collaboration and engagement skills
--Advanced analytical skills and comfortable with large data sets
