Our SaaS client is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to build and lead a field team of 5 sales reps focused on a new pillar of business building on existing dealer and distributor channels. You'll be responsible for working collaboratively with the business stockholders to identity the required skills to ensure partners adapt to new product and service subscriptions.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years proven field sales management experience preferably with after sales of a connective service technology or Saas product, consumer home automation PLUS.

This role will sit onsite in the clients office, which is not easily accessible by public transportation so a car would be preferred. This role will also require 50% travel to field teams, dealers, and distributors across the country.

Responsibilities of the Saas Sales Manager include:
-Serving as the expert on selling subscription services & connected products
-Understanding and defining what skills and tools are required by the sales team to drive increased sales effectiveness
-Build and lead a high-performance team of 5
-Defining the program success metrics and measurements
-Developing the training tools and playbooks for success
-Defining target markets and build plan focused on delivery
-Building groups of service dealers and identify new channels to drive growth
-Providing input to content team to create and update sales materials based on feedback and market demands
-Setting performance expectations,targets and provide annual feedback

Requirements of the SaaS Sales Manager:
-Proven experience in Sales or Sales Training role within field product sales or account management
-Strong understanding of the Sales Life Cycle
-Technical background for connected products & services
