An insurance agency is looking for a FULL TIME Marketing Communications Specialist to join their team. This position will begin as soon as the right candidate has been identified!

The ideal Marketing Communications Specialist will have prior insurance industry experience. Please note this experience in your response to this posting!

The Marketing Communications Specialist will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop content across multiple marketing channels and build brand awareness.

Marketing Communications Specialist requirements:
+ 3+ years of marketing experience in a corporate or agency environment
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
+ Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
+ Basic photography and design experience
+ Experience with CRM and CMS software + Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
+ Work proactively, independently, and reliably under tight time frames
+ Experience implementing SEO best practices
+ Experience writing content for social media and blogs

** It's a bonus if you have experience working within WordPress sites and have a degree in Marketing or Communications!

Marketing Communications Specialist responsibilities:
+ Create content for social media
+ Write articles, blogs, social media posts and edit copy for the website using SEO best practices
+ Assist in SEO strategy for company
+ Write email content for monthly newsletter
+ Assist in uploading web content to website
+ Assist in developing public relations strategy and media outreach
+ Assist with filming and editing company videos and vlogs
+ Create loyalty program
