Position Freelance Account Director (Experiential/Events)

Our experiential marketing client is looking for an Account Director to join their team for an upcoming event.

This role will be managing the relationship with their top pharmaceutical client leading the delivery of a large-scale B2B sales meeting in Q2 2019. The ideal candidate would have 8+ years experience in large-scale events including sales meetings, conferences, etc. B2B events strongly preferred.

Responsibilities of the Account Director:
-Managing process from planning through execution
-Ensuring that all client needs are meet and addressed
-Oversee collaboration of cross functional teams to ensure all creative content and agency solutions are met
-Leveraging agency offerings and event solutions
-Understanding the clients needs to serve as an advisor
-Develop project proposals, scopes of works and schedules
-Ensuring clear communication to the client
-Develop and implement metrics with strategy team
-Accountable for account revenue and growth
-Negotiate successful collaborations on behalf of the client
-Lead meetings and mange one direct report

Required skills for the Account Director:
-Experience in large-scale events (1000+ attendees)
-Create and communicate a plan or strategy
-Drive teamwork and collaboration
-Pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred
-Some travel required
