Our downtown Milwaukee-based client is seeking a freelance Instructional Designer for a long term, onsite freelance project.

As a Freelance Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the training strategy and design/development of all deliverables needed for their new product launch
- Conducting research on the best, current technologies and learning/development trends to use in the strategy for the deliverables and training approach
- Online course development, virtual training, interactive PDF, video, podcast, and facilitator-lead courses
- Adobe Creative Suite for course video development
- Creating story boards for course design
- Taking constructive feedback on story boards and course progress from subject matter experts
- Consulting with senior management for data and information to identify training needs of the audience
- Determining which media will be most effective with the audience between online courses, podcasts, video, school, written materials, facilitator-lead courses, etc.
- Ensuring all decisions are made to keep the audience engaged and their needs are met
- Taking the lead in research, training objectives, designs, and development
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Oversight of other Learning & Development specialists

Nice to have:
- 5+ years' experience
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as SuccessFactors
- Proficiency in training technologies, preferably Articulate Storyline 360
-Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud

Hours:
7AM-4PM or 8AM-5PM from 8/21/2018 - 12/31/2019.
