Social Media Coordinator

Our zoo client is looking for a REMOTE, freelance Social Media Coordinator to start in the next two weeks, 20 - 25 hours per week, for at least 3 months.

While this role is remote, it is highly preferred if this person can be onsite to absorb the zoo's surroundings for content inspiration and to take photos if desired!

The Social Media Coordinator will develop content ideas, take the first stab at post copy and create a well-though-out social media content calendar.

Social Media Coordinator Responsibilities
- Develop initial ideas through visits to the zoo, research and collaboration with team on social content ideas
- Take bullets from team based on ideas and draft social copy then post in Hootsuite for team to refine/schedule
- Thoroughly understand types of content, voice and posting cadence on social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
- Take photos if desired on phone for posts or pull from library of photos
