A/V Production Manager

Our client, a higher education institution, has an immediate need for a full-time A/V Production Manager. This opportunity will begin immediately for the right candidate, reporting onsite at their Dallas campus 40 hours per week.

The A/V Production Manager will oversee and be responsible all technical aspects video and audio production processes. The A/V Manager should be well-versed and up-to-date when it comes to best practices for video stage design, setup and A/V workflow.

A/V Production Manager Responsibilities:
? Oversee, assemble and, manage organization's A/V
production process including live production events
? Provide technical support and troubleshooting for
equipment and software during all event stages
? Prep talent with proper equipment and any
relevant instructions and/or on-screen direction to
ensure optimal sound and video quality
? Independently manage control room (switching and
producing show)
? Discuss media production needs with internal clients
and external vendors to determine best plan for
technical stage design, setup and process workflow
? Maintain inventory lists and archives of current and
out of use equipment
? Provide recommendations when it comes to
evaluating new equipment and techniques

A/V Production Manager Requirements:
? Bachelors Degree preferred
? 5+ years of previous experience technically producing
live events
? Intermediate to advanced knowledge of live event and
studio elements including: scenic, sound, lighting,
audio, projections, and stage management
? Willingness to travel and event-specific
weekend/evening availability required
? 5+ years of experience in working with high-end
projection blending, DMX lighting, or a switcher
system / video processing system such as Barco E2
