We have an exciting opportunity with a company near O'Hare(blue line accessible) for an RFP/Proposal Manager to join an aggressively growing company who is reinvigorating their culture and winning more business than they can handle.

To qualify for the RFP/Proposal Manager role you must have at least 5 years' experience in a healthcare related position such as insurance, pharma, dental, medical, etc. Please outline this experience when applying.

Responsible for identifying and developing new business growth initiatives by maximizing strategies and growth opportunities in targeted markets identified through the annual planning process.

Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
• Monitor and analyze clinical solution/product lines to help determine optimal strategy.
• Provide research, analysis and recommendations on the external environment as part of the development of strategic plans for the business unit.
• Analyze major competitor strategies and identify and monitor changing patterns of competition
• Acquire and maintain data/information on market, industry, economic, consumer and competitive conditions and trends pertaining to health insurance/managed care and related services.
• Participate in the full range of sales and business development activities including proposal development, presentation development, onsite client/prospect meetings, growth strategy development, industry events coordination and attendance, and other typical business development functions

Up to 15% travel is possible for this role.
