Our agency client is looking for an Account Director that has a consumer marketing background to lead their account services team!

The Account Director will provide leadership, vision, direction, coordination, and oversight to team members while ensuring that the overall expectations of the client are being met. This position is challenged with the task of ensuring that the client relationship is secure, while maintaining budget and utilization of the team.

Responsibilities include:
- Maintains a high level of client satisfaction by: Nurturing internal and external client relationships and growing new ones within our existing client base and ensuring that deliverables are presented to the client on time and within budget.
- Meets target revenue and budget goals.
- Responsible for ensuring that the Core Values are being integrated into a team-focused approach to maintaining professionalism and client relationships.
- Develops agency talent and knowledge by developing and mentoring cross-functional teams to advance individuals’ market and client knowledge.
- Completes assignments reliably and meets deadlines.
- Champion client relationships, manage, and grow existing relationships and service.
- Identify and actively participate in gaining new business from current and new clients.
- Management of business unit or department based on KPI’s.

Skills + Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 year’s account service experience in an agency environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience working with clients on traditional and digital objectives.
- Must demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, for cultivating client communications. Position requires a pleasant personality and a positive attitude.
- Negotiation skills to maximize opportunities with vendors and clients.
- Demonstrate familiarity with marketing concepts and terms
- Demonstrate ability to negotiate value added opportunities for clients.
- Must be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve time and budget requirements with a strong, positive attitude.
