About Our Client:
Our client is a leading Japanese Internet services company that offers e-commerce, fintech, digital content and communications services to over 1 billion members around the world.

About the Position:
The Global Account Director is responsible for managing key relationships with some of the most recognized brands in the world. This person will be tasked to identify growth opportunities, drive new business, and offer digital solutions that will deliver on client’s business goals. This role will report into the Chief Revenue Officer and currently has no direct reports. The position is ideally based in San Francisco; however, they are open to a candidate who would work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the principle point of contact for assigned clients. You will be tasked with building and nurturing strong and meaningful relationships.
• Anticipate client needs and work with the data science team in Japan to offer solutions for those needs.
• Leading and aiding in the sale of new tools and digital solutions for the client to grow revenue.
• Follow up on business leads and chances to sell in comprehensive digital marketing programs.
• Report business activities and accomplishments on a periodic basis and accurately forecast future demand.
• Leading client meetings regularly to present new data, findings and upsell services.
• Support the development and introduction of new services.

Skills, Requirements and Personal Attributes:
• 10+ years of account management experience leading large global accounts.
• 5+ years of experience developing and presenting digital solutions within an advertising agency environment.
• A digital first background with deep knowledge of the digital mediums, technologies, and advertising trends.
• Proven experience building and nurturing strong ongoing client relationships with global accounts.
• Exceptional presentation and consultative business skills.
• Ability to work independently with little hand holding.
• Goal-oriented and driven to succeed.
• Ability to grow a new division within a global organization.

*This role is ideally based onsite in San Francisco but they are open to it being a remote position or relocating the right candidate.
