Freelance Designer (Mid- / Senior-Level) - Fully Remote / Off-site

One of our non-profit clients is looking for a Mid-/Senior-Level Designer to join their team for ongoing freelance support, about 20-30 hours/week or more if workload permits!
This Mid-/Senior-Level Designer will support an internal creative team as well as broader marketing teams.
Mid-/Senior-Level Designer Responsibilities
• Support digital and print projects including:
o Design of long-format publications and newsletters
o Design infographics (interactive and static) and other visuals including e-books and presentations
o Handle multiple concurrent design projects
o Design of ads, social media graphics, icons
o Layout of templated marketing material
o Illustration for design projects
• DAM support including uploading and meta-tagging projects as they are completed (training provided).
• Understand and adhere to client brand guidelines
Required experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Expertise in Adobe design software, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Understands and uses InDesign Style and Character
• 5+ years of graphic design experience, preferable in digital and interactive design
• Experience with master slide development and design in PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a PC-based platform
Desired experience
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite Interactive Design and Motion Tools (After Effects, Animate, Premiere Pro, InDesign, XD)
• A strong portfolio in digital and interactive graphic design
• CSS and HTML5 proficiency
• Fluency in two or more languages (Spanish and/or Chinese are a huge plus)
