A fashion retailer is looking for a seasoned Director of eCommerce + Merchandising to join its team. This is FULL TIME role that starts in late February.

The Director of Online Experience will lead a team of 2 copywriters and drive the product strategy, assortment and presentation for the eCommerce business. This role will develop deep product and consumer expertise in order to create a world-class online experience for the customer that maximizes conversion, sales and profitability.

The ideal Director of eCommerce + Merchandising has 7+ years of proven experience in an eCommerce role. In addition, you have previous management experience and a strong understanding of retail, merchandising and fashion.

+ Bachelor's degree
+ 7+ years of experience in eCommerce retail
+ Experience managing 3rd party relationships
+ Demonstrated ability to build and develop a team

Experience with Magento E-Commerce, a plus!

Reporting to the VP, Digital, the Director of eCommerce + Merchandising will lead copywriters and drive the product strategy, assortment and presentation for the eCommerce business.

• Product Merchandising – Own product merchandising across the site, including the home page, landing pages, and product catalog
•Product Catalog & Content
•Campaign Marketing – Work with Merchandising to select products to highlight in marketing campaigns & initiatives
•Personalization – Champion personalization throughout the site experience
•Product Storytelling – Collaborate with Creative to communicate the company’s value proposition
•Navigation - Identify and drive opportunities to optimize navigation and usability to maximize conversion
•Product Selection – Work with the Planning & Allocation team to identify exclusive product opportunities
•Inventory & Fulfillment – Collaborate with internal teams to plan inventory needs, optimize product availability, and ensure timely delivery to consumers
•Analysis – Leverage sales data, web data and A/B testing to understand the consumer shopping behavior and optimize sales
•Forecasting – Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis to create revenue forecasts
•UX/UI – Experience in User Experience and Interface Design to help lead the customer experience strategy for the web
