Our B2B tech client is in need of a Marketing Business Analyst to support their team through the end of January 2023, 40 hours/week, fully remote!

Preference to PST or local to Pleasanton, CA.

The Marketing Business Analyst will:
- Perform requirements analysis by evaluating business processes, anticipate needs, uncover areas for improvement, define and recommend solutions
- Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
- Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
- Organize, facilitate, and conduct presentation meetings to share ideas and findings
- Detail and present the results of your efforts and insights to multi-functional team members and management.
- Work with internal clients, technical staff, and managerial staff to assemble critical information and produce useful information and reports.
- Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff when appropriate.
- Prioritize initiatives based on organizational objectives.
- Evaluate resource allocation and cost efficiency.
- Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements and evaluate impact on the organization and the staff.
- Lead projects and develop project plans with an eye on performance.
- Update, implement, and maintain procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between partners and users and perform user acceptance testing.
- Spearhead work, ensuring timely completion of projects while handling resource and priority challenges

The ideal Marketing Business Analyst should possess the following:
- 5+ years of experience and demonstrated ability in a business analysis or a related field with a few years of experience in the subject area.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using project management tools (Workfront, Asana, Smartsheets, Lucid Chart etc.)

Nice to have's:
- Knowledge of B2B marketing processes and principles is very helpful.
- Ability to influence partners and work closely with them to find acceptable solutions.
- Experience crafting detailed reports and giving presentations.
- A track record of leading and supporting successful projects as well as following through on commitments.
Excellent planning, documentation and interpersonal skills
