The Bay Area's best-known search engine giant is seeking a Retail Marketing Researcher / Consumer Insights Manager to assist their team.

The Retail Marketing Researcher / Consumer Insights Manager central to the client's understanding of their customer as they shop for their first party hardware products in retail environments, as well as their experience across the more holistic customer journey. You will be responsible for driving consumer research in online and offline third party retail environments. Your role will be global in nature, and you will build and execute a research agenda across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

Retail Marketing Researcher / Consumer Insights Manager will require someone who is versatile and is comfortable managing vendors, guiding work of others, and interacting with senior leadership on complex problems.

Top Responsibilities:
-Work with external vendors to scope, plan, execute and summarize qualitative research.
-Run weekly meetings with various stakeholders, to understand business questions and share back key insights.
-Work with manager to build research roadmap.
-Collaborate with other insights & analytics professionals to tell a broader story with insights, including measurement & optimization, analytics, mystery shopping program, brand tracking, and more.
- Work closely with a range of cross-functional partners, including Product Marketing Managers; Creative; and Retail Training, Demo, and Go to Market teams to understand core business challenges, identify research needs, and bring your insights to life.
- Use a variety of research techniques to capture insights, including surveys, IDIs, focus groups, and in-store shop-alongs.
-Conduct research with external participants, testing new retail fixtures, demos, videos, copy, and graphics.

Ideal Qualifications:
-Minimum 3 years experience in Market Research, including in qualitative research.
-Experience managing vendors to conduct research projects.
-Experience running research in the retail environment BA/BS degree with a strong analytical, business or psych focus (STEM or quantitative social sciences).
-Experience managing multiple large-scale projects concurrently.
