Our social media giant client seeks a Creative Director (Copywriter) to join their team in this 6 month freelance role!

The Creative Director (Copywriter) will be responsible for the following:
- Concept and write inspiring ideas across all mediums, i.e. film, social media, events, print, pitches/presentations etc.
- Take a technical product concept and build a compelling insight-led narrative with the empowerment, protection and connection of the user at heart
- Communicate compelling stories and translate complex context in concise, clear ways to both technical audiences (tech elite, researchers, academics) and to non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, technical and UX researchers, creative, comms), contributing to the strategic development of the brand voice
- Partner with product teams to help them identify the most compelling aspects of their products, up-leveling their technical innovations, and offer strategic guidance on how best to distill their stories to resonate with stakeholders
- Develop storyboard templates, script outlines, and guidelines
- Review and critique presentations, consult, and direct where needed

The ideal Creative Director (Copywriter) should possess the following:
- 6+ years of relevant experience working in a digital company, agency, or studio concepting and writing copy for global brands
- Experience crafting copy that elevates the human benefits of technology, simplifying and up-leveling complex topics, and formulating compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences
- A history with branding/advertising campaigns, being able to ladder things up to the company mission, through relatable narratives and dialog
- Demonstrated experience creating short and long-form content across a broad variety of mediums (film, social media, events, print, web etc.)
- Experience partnering with design, marketing, and communications teams to deliver scaled programs with strategic copywriting
- A passion for storytelling and strategy in a technical space, experienced in developing campaigns that can extend and enrich audience understanding
- Demonstrated experience actioning feedback and iterating with speed

Bonus Qualifications:
- An understanding or appreciation of Artificial Intelligence.
- Strong project ownership and project management.
- Proficiency with project management tools, i.e. Monday.com, Wrike, Asana
- Working knowledge of Figma, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator)
