Our social media giant client seeks a Technical Writer to join their team in this 6 month freelance role!

The Technical Writer will be responsible for the following:
Technical Writer Responsibilities
- Design, write, edit, test and improve content that makes our program easier to participate in and our tooling easier to use. This includes workflows, interface language, education materials, posts, and technical and process documentation.
- Understand the program the technical writer will be supporting and how information should be conveyed to the different customers, partners, and key stakeholders that are part of the program
- Work closely with program management and engineering teams to ensure quality and accuracy of content.
- Update internal web pages, task templates, and standard communications.

The ideal Technical Writer should possess the following:
- Adept at simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audience
- 8+ years of experience with technical writing, writing, creative writing, report writing, proposal writing, or grant writing
- 1+ year(s) experience in one or more of these areas: help and support content, content management systems and workflows, editorial quality assurance, or online operations at a tech company
- Experience writing and designing content for web
- Familiar with content tooling and/or front-end programming
- Established record of project ownership, project management, and self-direction.
