Technical Writer - WFH during Covid-19

Our well-known software client seeks a Technical Writer to join their team in this 6 month freelance role!

The Technical Writer will be responsible for the following:
- Research and report on technology and business trends relevant to C-Suite leaders and address the client’s market positioning and priorities; publishing 4-5 stories/week
- Translate compelling stories for various audiences through print articles, PowerPoints, talking points, and social media
- Look into untapped data sources tell external-facing stories, including internal product research, sales meetings, marketing events, etc.
- Curate and edit key landing pages, selecting stories, writing headlines, and editing copy; repackage archived and cross-team content that is relevant to Workflow readers
- Partner closely with the SEO and analytics team, you'll ensure all content is optimized for the Workflow audience
- Fact-check all reporting and project-manage research agencies to ensure the timely delivery of data

The ideal Technical Writer should possess the following:
- 5+ years experience reporting and editing experience, preferably for a newswire or daily publishing channel
- 2+ years of experience copy editing or demonstrated little to no need of being edited
- 1+ years of experience in a corporate setting
- Clips showing you've reported on data and effectively contextualized trends
- Experience working with designers to create compelling data visualizations
