Our eCommerce client is looking for a Product Marketing consultant/contractor to help drive adoption of online and point of sale solutions on this 6 month contract.
Primary scope and responsibilities include:
- Build messaging documents, marketing briefs, and artifacts
- Build customer insights through research and in-market tests
- Work with research team to define and launch customer research in market
- Conduct research on competition and build customer insights
- Work with product and marketing teams to launch in-market tests to validate hypotheses
- Create product launch materials and artifacts
- Provide inputs to finance’s forecasting model
- Support the PMM team on other deliverables as necessary
Skills & Experience
- Experience in consumer or SMB product marketing including messaging, positioning, and research
- Ability to distill customer insights by way of research and in-market testing
- This is an execution-focused role, “getting things done” mindset is a must have
- Strong experience in working with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and simply
- Comfortable with ambiguity, not afraid to ask questions, and able to drive projects forward and make progress in a fluid environment
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with track record of “test & learn” mindset
