Character Art & Animation Generalist - WFH during Covid-19

Bay area tech giant is seeking a Character Art & Animation Generalist to assist their team.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement cutting edge 3D content and systems in a fast-paced research and development environment.
-Collaborate with cross functional teams (engineering, technical artists, production, and external vendors) to plan and develop various content.

Skills/Qualifications:
-Bachelors in Computer Graphics or similar
-3+ years of Art/Animation industry experience
-5+ years 3D character production experience in games, film, or VFX
-Proficiency in Maya and Vray Rendering System
-Diverse capabilities in 3D character modeling, scans, animation, rigging, texturing, shading, lighting, rendering, effects, scripting, tracking and compositing
-Experience animating characters manually, animation clean up, ingesting, and applying motion capture animation
-Experience with rigging, skinning, and blend shape deformation rigs
-Cloth and hair simulation experience
-Shader development, PBR texture/material workflows, lighting and material calibration
