Account Director - WFH during Covid-19

Our renowned East Bay agency client is looking for a savvy, innovative Account Director who has worked in the financial vertical.

This role is 30 - 40 hours/week depending on project pipeline and has potential to convert depending on fit. Big plus if you've previously managed social diversity and social justice campaigns!

This Account Director will be:
- Managing quality of work from all creative components
- Leading and developing account management teams, and manages profitability
- Owning responsibility for client satisfaction and retention including building a relationship with the client senior management
- Helping the client spend their budgets wisely across all disciplines including business goals, ROI measurements, and training requirements necessary to provide both quality and profitable service to clients
- Providing leadership internally and assigning duties, deliverables, and supervision of the account services
- Participating in new business efforts; and advising on potential for new opportunities

- Having managed campaigns for multicultural / BIPOC audiences is ideal
- 10-15 years relevant advertising agency experience and at least 7 years managing a team and overseeing an account or specific brand category
- Experience managing accounts with revenues of ~$8 million+ and has a proven ability to bring in new business
- Understanding of segmented and integrated marketing programs, with knowledge in digital, mobile, social media, events and experiential marketing programs
- Has managed budgets to improve program value and increase ROI
- Capable of developing, mentor and managing offsite staff and providing nimble oversight
